US Keep it Fringe fund
We are thrilled to introduce a US strand of the Keep it Fringe fund for 2025, after the initial success of the UK Keep it Fringe fund in 2023.
The US Keep it Fringe fund will provide US-based artists with a financial bursary alongside a comprehensive support package of events and one-to-one advice to empower them to thrive at next year’s Fringe.
Donations of all size are welcome, however, for 2024 we are offering Founding Funder acknowledgement for the below values:

All donors over $15,000 will be acknowledged online.
Founding Funders will be recognised for their support on our website from 2024 to 2026.
We will host special events for Keep it Fringe supporters in our new Fringe home in Edinburgh when it opens in 2025 and in the US (tbc).
By supporting the US Keep it Fringe fund, you can nurture the next generation of American talent and help us break barriers to participation in the arts.
US Donors' Circle
Join our US community of Fringe-lovers, ensure a vibrant future for the Fringe and support our charitable work to give anyone a stage and everyone a seat. In 2023, we welcomed 366 shows from the US and provided vital support at our artist hub that offered one-on-one support, professional development events and wellbeing services.

Our US Donors enjoy a closer relationship with the Fringe Society team, receiving behind the scenes access to special supporter events and opportunities to engage with the wider team.
For Donors looking for benefits such as 2for1 ticket offers, considering adding a Friends membership to your donation from just £49. Please note Friends membership are not tax-exempt.

USA Board of Advisors to the Fringe Society
An enormous Fringe Society thank you to our US Advisors: Chris Crouch, Ian Houston, Paul Innella, Molly Morris, Scott Plank and Ellen Tupman.
US activity
In April 2023, a small group of Fringe Society representatives – led by our Chief Executive, Shona McCarthy – visited New York City and Washington DC to forge and strengthen relationships with Fringe fans in the US.
The visit coincided with Tartan Week; in addition to participating in the incredible Tartan Day Parade, our team also met with individuals and organisations including Playbill, the UK Consul in New York, the British Embassy in Washington DC, the White House Historical Society and the American-Scottish Foundation.
The trip was a fantastic success, with many new friendships struck up and promising plans made for the future of the Fringe. We'd like to thank everyone we met for the warm welcome we received.
We were pleased to return to New York in January 2024 to take part in the International Society for Performing Arts Congress, and look forward to returning for Tartan Week 2024 (with thanks to the Scottish Business Network Tartan Challenge program for making this possible).
