We're delighted to announce Belhaven Brewery as a new sponsor for Fringe 2023.  

Located not far from Edinburgh, in Dunbar, the Belhaven Brewery was established in 1719 and is the oldest working brewery in Scotland. This year they will be joining in the Fringe celebrations from the Belhaven bar on the Mound – a key location amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the Fringe street events – bringing their award-winning beers to Fringe-goers, including a special-edition lager exclusive to the Fringe. The Belhaven bar will operate from 05 – 27 August between 12:00 and 21:00. 

Commenting on the news, Shona McCarthy, Chief Executive, Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, said: “We are immensely grateful to the Belhaven Brewery for their support. Sponsoring the Fringe during this period of recovery is vitally important and it’s wonderful to see a company with such rich history in Scotland continue to invest in the Scottish creative landscape.  

“The Fringe is a cultural keystone in Edinburgh and this sponsorship will help us continue in our mission to give anyone a stage and everyone a seat. We invite everyone to come and fill their boots with all that the Edinburgh Fringe has to offer this August!”
