The Fringe Society has been shortlisted for three Outstanding Attitude Awards by Attitude is Everything – the charity improving D/deaf and disabled people’s access for live music.

Accessible Infrastructure Award

Nominated for the redesign of the Virgin Money Street Events in 2018 which helped ensure the world’s largest street festival was open and accessible to all. Many projects within this development were made possible thanks to the Festivals Edinburgh Tourism Innovation Fund.

Ticketing Without Barriers Award – ticketing / tech company

Big Ambition Award

For the Society’s overall efforts to make the Fringe as inclusive as possible.

Speaking about the nominations Fringe Society Chief Executive, Shona McCarthy said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted in three different categories of the Outstanding Attitude Awards. Attitude is Everything does incredible work enabling access to live music and we are privileged to work with them on our ambition to make the Fringe accessible for all.”

The winners will be announced at an accessible ceremony at Islington Assembly Hall on 12 March.
