Nominations are now open to stand for election to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society’s Board of Directors.

The Board is elected by members of the Fringe Society and is legally responsible for ensuring that the Society fulfils its charitable objectives in line with its constitution.

In order to stand for election to the Board you need to be a member of the Fringe Society and two fellow members need to nominate and second you. There are two seats available: one in the Participants category and one in the Open category.

  • Participants – anyone involved in bringing a show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe that is registered for the 2021 Fringe.
  • Open – anyone interested in standing.

To support our diversity and accessibility policies, the Fringe Society is encouraging nominations for candidates from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates.

The Society must receive all nominations by 12:00 noon on Monday 19 July 2021. These can be sent by email to [email protected] or as a hard copy to 180 High Street.

The Fringe Society is a membership organisation and is open to all. In order to vote in the election to the Board of Directors, you must be a member of the Fringe Society.
