This summer we’re challenging residents and visitors to the city of Edinburgh to track down our Fringe pigeons that have taken flight and have found new homes all over the city.

A small flock of golden pigeons have been hidden in iconic Edinburgh landmarks and every Fringe venue has their own personal pigeon which they have decorated in their own special way.

We’re inviting the public to hunt these pigeons down and shoot them, with their phone camera.

Everyone who captures a picture of them and shares them on Twitter or Instagram using the #CatchThePigeon hashtag will be entered into a daily prize draw where £30 of Fringe vouchers will be up for grabs. Full terms and conditions are available online.

Winners will be chosen at random every day from Friday 27 July until Monday 27 August 2018 – the last day of the Fringe.
